While working for a reputable design agency CA Design Group, now know as Transform, I was Studio Manager and full-time Graphic Designer. I had the opportunity to work on the design and layout of the international award-winning TASTE Magazine, featured in more than 195 BC Liquor Stores. I participated in the team planning and conceptualizing of TASTE magazine issues and worked directly with the client, print vendor, writers/editors and photographer. 

The initial stages of each issue started with sketching and illustrating ideas to plan the concepts/photography and provide art direction to the photographer, including shot layout, camera angle, focal point and any featured props. I was responsible for collecting and organizing content from contributors, editors and advertisers, attending photos shoots, working on the layout and design of the magazine in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and oversaw the project from initial concept through to final print production including press checks.
